Built for Financial Clarity

We started TigerGrids because budgeting shouldn't feel like solving a puzzle blindfolded. After watching too many people struggle with scattered spreadsheets and confusing apps, we decided to build something that actually makes sense.

From Frustration to Solution

Back in early 2023, our founder Marcus Chen was helping his sister organize her finances after she moved to Hanoi for work. Three hours into sorting through her expense tracking methods – which involved two different apps, a notebook, and about fifteen sticky notes – he realized something was seriously wrong with how people approach budgeting.

The existing tools either oversimplified everything to the point of being useless, or they were so complex that you needed an accounting degree just to set up categories. That's when the idea for TigerGrids took shape: what if budget allocation could be both sophisticated and intuitive?

We spent the rest of 2023 talking to families, freelancers, and small business owners across Vietnam. Their stories convinced us that people don't need another app – they need a completely different approach to thinking about money flow.

What Drives Us Forward

These aren't just nice words on our website. They're the principles that guide every decision we make, from product development to customer support.

Practical Innovation

We don't build features because they sound cool. Every tool we create solves a real problem that actual people face when managing their money. If it doesn't make your life easier, it doesn't make it into our platform.

Clarity Over Complexity

Financial planning is already complicated enough. Our job is to present information in ways that help you understand patterns and make confident decisions, not to impress you with unnecessary bells and whistles.

Long-term Partnership

We're not here to extract data or push you toward expensive premium features. Our success comes from helping you build sustainable financial habits that work for years, not months.

The People Behind the Platform

Our team combines deep financial expertise with real understanding of how Vietnamese families and businesses actually manage money.

"Most financial software treats users like they're computers. We build for humans who make imperfect decisions and need systems that adapt to real life, not textbook scenarios."

Our Commitment to You

When you choose TigerGrids, you're partnering with a team that understands the unique challenges of managing finances in today's economy. We've seen how traditional budgeting methods fall short when you're dealing with irregular income, family obligations, or business expenses that don't fit neat categories.

That's why we're constantly refining our allocation methods based on feedback from real users. Your success with financial planning directly impacts how we develop new features and improve existing ones.
